The people listed here lead SIMYL Research: they design each engagement, lead it, and answer for the result. They work with more SIMYL engineers, whom we do not list on the site, including mobile engineers for iPhone and Android apps; when an engagement needs more hands, we bring in whoever is needed under our direction and review, and we confirm their availability before committing capacity; the terms are in How we work. Leandro Rabindranath León
Co-founder · architecture and modeling
- PhD in Computer Science from UPMC (Paris) and former university professor. Working in software engineering since 1991.
- Backend architecture, algorithms and data structures, concurrency, distributed systems, and modeling.
- Designed in 1998 the concurrent cache protocol published as open source in Go in 2020 and now reimplemented in C++20.
Alex Drums
CTO · technical leadership and engineering
- Computer Systems Engineer with more than 15 years in industry and a period as a university professor.
- Implementation in C++, Rust, Python, Java, C#, and Ruby; database optimization and data structure design.
- Prior experience in game engines and in the architecture of cryptocurrency systems, where performance and concurrency matter.
Julian Segura
Co-founder · product manager and client relations
- Experience as Product Owner and Product Manager, grounded in Scrum and agile methods.
- Responsible at SIMYL for scope and proposals, negotiating terms, and following up on deliveries.
